What is the process to hiring a marquee?
- First step is to get in touch either via email or telephone with your enquiry no matter how basic
- Second step is usually an initial quote to give an idea of pricing
- Third step is a site visit to establish what’s possible and understand what is it you have in your mind
- Fourth step – provide an accurate quote and example floorplan for your event
- Fifth step - we move onto the planning stage and you start getting excited about your event!
Do we pay a deposit?
Yes we take a 25% deposit to secure the booking, but we leave the final payment until about 4 weeks before your event. This way you can add or remove and tailor your final marquee and equipment list with full flexibility.
Do I need to make all decisions right at the start of the booking?
No, you have full flexibility to add or remove items all the way up to the setup date.
What access do you need?
We need to get our vehicles as close as possible to the setup site but we assess and discuss this with you when we come for a site visit. We will advise if there are any problems
My lawn/ground is uneven
Don’t worry this is something we will advise on during the site visit and we can level most uneven grounds for the marquees using our sub-frame system
Do I need insurance?
Once the equipment has been delivered and until it is collected, you are responsible for any damage, vandalism or theft of the equipment. In most cases, event and wedding insurance will include the cover but if you have any questions please just give us a call and we will be more than happy to talk you through the process.
When will the marquee be setup because my event is on a Saturday?
We aim to have everything installed by last thing on a Thursday for a Saturday event. If it is possible we will try and install earlier so you have more time to get ready for the event.
What does a site visit mean?
We offer a free site visit service which involves us travelling to your chosen marquee site/venue and discussing where you want the marquee to go. Site visits are also a chance for you to ask as many questions as you like and can last anywhere from 10 minutes to a couple of hours depending on how many questions you have.
What areas do you cover?
We cover Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, South Yorkshire and major towns and cities of Nottingham, Mansfield, Newark, Lincoln, Grantham, Chesterfield, Melton Mowbray, Loughborough, Sheffield and Doncaster.
